Ottawa sees single-digit increase in new COVID-19 case

s Ottawa Public Health is reporting eight new COVID-19 cases in the city on Tuesday, reflecting a low not seen in the pandemic since August 2020. The number of active COVID-19 cases in the city also dropped to 172 and no new deaths related to the virus were reported in the past 24 hours. Tuesday tends to be the lowest day of the week for new COVID-19 case reports, and local health officials have cautioned that low testing volumes could be underestimating the actual levels of the virus in the community. #case #citylife #ottawa #number #drop #canada #wellbeing #report #publichealth #public #reporting
